First American Teddy, EAN #667183, was manufactured by Steiff, limited to 2003 only, and is a North American exclusive. He features a customized ear tag of a miniature American flag. This is the first time a Steiff button in ear tag has ever been modified, in such a way, in the company's history. He is 16" tall (with hat), is fully jointed, and made of blonde short mohair. He has black glass eyes, shaved extended muzzle, embroidered nose, mouth, and claws, and wool paw pads. He wears a white felt top hat with blue hatband embroidered with white stars and a red bow tie with embroidered white stars.

He comes in a special beautiful shoe box with his special ear tag and button, as well as his certificate of authenticity. He is #02251 in the edition. He is old store stock and in mint condition.
