is an artist original doll designed and created by Linda J. Kays of Norwich, New
York. She creates her own dolls as well as runs a business that helps other artists and companies created limited
editions of their own products.
The Ugly Stick is a character doll made of resin, handmolded, then handpainted. He is 12" tall with handpainted
features, applied gray hair, and was first sold in 1994. He wears a knit piece of clothing that looks like the top of a sock, embelished
with a white collar, burgundy necktie, and a "100 bill" attached to the front of his clothing. His "body" is a dowel
rod attached to a black base formed to look like a pair of shoes.
He comes with his original hangtag which has the following quip inside...."I hate this job...but I need the paycheck!".
This truly fabulous character doll is in wonderful condition, all original, and comes complete with his original hangtag.
He is a one-of-a-kind piece and would make a nice addition to any collection.
