Fort Snelling Decanter manufactured by Seagrams. It is a special edition created for the 57th American Legion National Convention held in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1975. It is a replica Fort Snelling, located in St. Paul, Minnesota and is put out by Seagram's Benchmark Premium Bourbon Whiskey. The decanter stands 11 1/2 inches high, and is 7 1/2 inches wide at the base and is made of ceramic. The bottom of the decanter is royal blue with gold trim and has all the important dates and information about those dates on each panel. The top of the decanter is a light brown color and made to look like the tower of Fort Snelling. The tower is separate from the base and it just sits on top. The original plastic guard is still in place to keep the top from chipping the base. The decanter is also in excellent condition, but empty. It holds a 4/5 quart bottle.

The decanter is in unused condition and has no cracks, chips, hairlines, or repairs. It comes in the original box which shows much wear. The top flap is missing, but has kept the decanter from getting damaged. It would make a nice addition to any collection.
